The third floor is dedicated to the Middle Ages, with special interest in the art of the Asturian Monarchy, and pilgrimage routes, which rise and converge in Asturias. The recreation of the central chapel of a prerromanic church, along with such notable pieces as Don Rodrigo Alvarez sarcophagus of Asturias, the remains of the Monastery of San Francisco de Oviedo and a splendid view of the ambulatory of the Cathedral of Oviedo are the most important milestones of this part of the exhibition
