The elements that make up the permanent exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Asturias are housed in the cloister of the old convent of San Vicente and four floors of a modern building that occupies part of the site of the old monastery.
The museum also has a temporary exhibition hall, an auditorium and space for educational workshops on the ground floor. In the mezzanine of the building of the former cloister is the library. The catering hall is located on the third floor. The top floor houses the administrative offices of the institution.
